Historic England

Another England

Another England (2018) was a 12-month campaign that aimed to better understand the stories of people of colour in England. Historic England worked to create an accessible public record of these histories and the places that are important to them.

Workshops around the country gathered photography of places and memories of people of colour, to include them in Historic England’s official records. An exhibition at NOW Gallery in London followed as well as a Late at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

I assisted on the project throughout and led a crowd-sourcing workshop at the V&A Late.
