London History Day
I led 2018’s London History Day (2018). It was a campaign, organised by Historic England in collaboration with over 80 London museums, galleries and cultural spaces to encourage new audiences to appreciate the city’s heritage. It was a huge success, attracting over 10,000 attendees and trending on Twitter.
London History Day is an annual celebration of the capital’s vibrant culture and heritage, organised by Historic England. The theme for London History Day 2018 was ‘Courage’. In the 100th anniversary year women gaining the right to vote, many special events touched on the pioneering spirit, heroism, initiative and audacity layered in our history.
Schools around England encouraged children to dress-up as a historical figure for the day
